Sophia is just adorable!
Glad to hear her palate surgery went well. My daughter Ava had her palate repaired November 28th.
We have to be on soft food for 7 weeks and in the arm splints for a total of three weeks…doesn’t seem to slow her down though.

Why does Santa scare kids so much? I am dreading taking Lilly, I know she will have the same reaction as Sofia, it’s one of those thing you have to do though. Congrats on #2! It will be so wonderful for Sofia to have a sister. Goos luck and I hope the process moves quickly for you all!

I was just thinking of you guys when I was putting up our tree. My mom had sent me some old ornaments from when I was growing up….there was a had made needle point one of the Swan Pond in Manlius (not sure if it is still there). Brought back memories.
This past week has been a really L-O-N-G week! Poor little Sofia was surprisingly released from the hospital on Thursday. The doctor told us 5-6 days, but since she was drinking and eating she passed the tests to get to leave early (gotta love managed healthcare). Thank goodness my mom came up here to help…
I am so glad everything went so well. Sorry to be a stranger, shame on me. I am glad S looks so great and feels so good.
My 2 guesses are either moving or adopting again.
Glad Sofia is doing well after her surgery. Can’t wait to see how much better she’ll look after the swelling goes down and more of the redness goes away.
So glad all went well with the surgery. I hope Sofia feels better soon.
