Ahhhhhh, nothing beats being done with the adoption paperchase once again. John and I took our paperwork over to our agency today and handed over a hefty check. We are just waiting to get our homestudy and federal fingerprints done and then our dossier will be headed to the file packed room at the CCAA…

Hi! Hope you guys are doing good. Since we are going special needs again, we did not have to wait to submit our dossier until the 12 month post-placement. Although we cannot travel until after Sept. 08
Our documents should be good for 18months from the time we are logged in (which will be a month or two since we are still waiting for our homestudy to be done before the dossier can be sent).

I would love to have that machine, not that I would have the slightest idea on how to use it, but I would be a monogramming fool!!!! And don’t worry Sofia will be fine as far as the camera thing goes, I have an incredibly , ridiculously documented family, they say that my camera grows out of my …., well you know where!!! lol I just uploaded over 700 pictures to Costco, isn’t that just ridiculous, oh well I love taking pictures,it is just when I am gone none of my grandkids etc, will even know I existed because I am always behind the camera do don’t make that mistake!!! I admire all of you who are doing the quilt thing — that is just so overwhelming to me that I never did attempt it (but I do have two quilt squares that a dear adoptive mom sent me after I sent her some — not sure what I’m going to do with them, but oh well!). Glad you got them back safely and found someone you trust to make them into a quilt.
I have the same American Doll and they too told me that it was Asian, when I brought it home my husband laughed and said there is no way she is Asian.
I work in the same building as American Girl in NYC and there is no other doll that is close to Asian.
Oh well, you have the real thing and she’s beautiful.
