Unfortunately our trip to Hershey Park was a bust. Seems that there was a tropical storm that hit the Carolinas and came right up through PA and it dumped a ton of rain on the area. We arrived in Hershey on Friday around 3:00 PM and it rained right up until the time we left…
We are headed to Hershey Park in the morning for an early birthday treat for Sofia. Her birthday is 10/4, but since Hershey is closed for the season on her birthday, we decided to go early. This will be Sofia’s first amusement park visit and it should be a lot of fun. Grandma & Grandpa…

I should’ve asked you to take a jar to Hershey for me and trap some of that chocolate smell from the factory.
Hopefully one of these days we’ll make it back to Hershey. It was so much fun to visit when we lived in Baltimore.

OK Jonni, I suck! I know it. I have actually missed you since you haven’t been around at my studio blog lately (I think) but I know that you are way busy {especially with Sofia’s birthday – that’s huge and so important) and I know that friendship goes both ways, not just one person doing all the work. So I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I know I suck for not leaving you more comments more often, at least to see how you are doing and all. I am sorry and will try to be better.

Can’t wait to hear about Sofia’s first trip to the park! When we lived in MD, we would drive to Hershey and take the tour of the factory, then off to what was then a very small park – I understand it’s much larger now – Have fun and take lots of pics!!

Just as long as you post pictures!! If you want to make your pictures larger use Windows Live Writer. This allows you to put the picture anywhere on your post and make it bigger.

As far as fall plans – we're traveling quite a bit in October. Heading to Dallas the 2nd weekend and then heading to LA on the 22nd for a week long trip due to someone having to get some job training (Lane). It'll be fun though as we'll go to some of our old stomping grounds as well as take Eriks back to Legoland & Disneyland. He was 16 months old the last time he went to either of them.
