Sofia cooks like Landree!
Sofia just cracks me up, I just love that girl. Favorite photo is the fourth one down, laying on the floor. I just get blown away with those eyes and you always capture her spirit so good. Great Job Mom! The festival looked so fun and I am looking forward to the wedding pics. Can’t wait. Glad you get to visit with family. Hope to see some Halloween photos in there somewhere!?

BEAUTIFUL pictures!!! Sofia is such a Darling!!! You are a gifted photographer-I wish I was blessed with that gift!! It’s funny b/c I have been dying to find out how to blur the background of a pic and then you shared your tip in this post! Of course I just have a simple digital camera so I’m not sure I would be able to do it… I hope to get a new camera for Christmas-but then I would have no idea what to do with it! I love these images!!! She is so sweet and serene – the color is great too! Funny that you mentioned histograms and metering… I’m teaching that tonight in my photography class and I’ve been working on my presentation for the last few days. great shots chick!! I miss the fall in NY – it’s October 15th and its going to get up to near 90 degrees today!! ugh – come on fall!! We are going camping this weekend and will have much cooler temps! This will be Little T’s first camping trip so we are excited!!

I can’t wait till our leaves look like yours – we are just getting a few leaves turning, but nothing much yet. Sofia looks so pretty in the leaves, she looks to have such a calm demeanor about her. What a lucky mommy you are.
I love the shot of her sitting in the leaves, what a wonderful feeling of fall you get from it. Glad you’re enjoying the photography class too. I’ve always thought metering would be something to learn more about that I just haven’t figured out yet.

soft tranquil and beautiful
On Wednesday I took Sofia to the Pediatrician for her 2 year check-up. This is actually the 3rd Pediatrician Sofia has had in the past year. Our first Pediatrician, Dr. Panasci moved back to St. Louis, which was too bad because she was really great. She had a real easy and calm way about her….
She is just the sweetest thing….my kids would have been dunking their heads in that pond….she is such an angel (wanna trade kids for the weekend???) just kidding. she is so very lucky to have you as a mommy!!! keep the camera happy!!!!

Wow! She IS tall!! I know when we were in China we could see the people in Lanzhou were very tall. Faith’s height and weight has always been in the 50th%. She is not very tall. Her Dr. said she would be about 5’4-5’5.
Faith started speech therapy at 2 years old. She too was very smart and talking quite a bit, but she needed help with her communication skills. I think it helped her a great deal.
I love watching Sofia blossom!!
She’s saying 10 words and Little T isn’t saying 1 – but our EI told us no to speech therapy – go figure!! Actually, EI said since she is mimmicing us and babbling more that we would look at some speech therapy early next year.

I love the photos, they capture such emotion.
A very big Your Welcome, I thought it was funny after we had mailed the crayon wrap for Art on the Go you talked about how enthusiastic she was about coloring Your photographs keep getting more amazing and I ‘m hooked on those Angel Eyes. Since the PT comes to the house for Lil Orchid my daughter previously got concerned regarding her speech, but before they even got started Lil Orchid began to talk, repeat and make her own little sentences. I’m sure Sofia is just waiting to amaze everyone too. Pretty soon she’ll have you rolling off the couch with cute quotes (it’s been a challenge capturing them on film).
It’s my dear friend G’s birthday today :~. She has been a buddy since we started the long adoption wait and I love her like a sister. She and her hubby have been waiting 28 months for their baby Mia as of today. Please stop by her blog and wish her a fabulous 45th birthday!
