• Hi There!

Hi, my name is Jonni and I am Mommy to Sofia (5 years old) and Samantha (6 years old) and wife to John. We reside in upstate NY. Our daughters are 5 mos. apart in age and a whole lot of fun. Sofia is from Jinchang City, Gansu and she turned 11 mos. during our trip to bring her home from China in 2007. Samantha is 5 mos. older but was our 2nd adoption. She was 3 years, 4 mos. when we brought her home from China in 2009. She is from Yangzhou City, Jiangsu.

I love blogging about our girls, photography, fonts, printables & crafts and I also have a slightly obsessive John Mayer addiction. Thank you for stopping by. :)

Thanksgiving on Long Island

I am backdating this post since I am really late adding it. The girls, John and I had a wonderful time with John’s parents over Thanksgiving. John’s brother and his family came too which is always a treat. The girls just adore their Uncle Kyle, Aunt Yoshi and their Cousin Nicky. And I think Nicky…

Lisa - Hi Jonni,

So happy to hear that you are finally feeling better. What a long winter for you….. being sick is just the pits, but to be ill for two months is unthinkable.

I am glad you are going to backdate and catch us up on your holidays. It looks like they were fabulous and the girls are just as cute as can be!!

When are you moving? Do you have a place to live yet? Keep me posted!! Happy Packing~

xoxo,

Lisa

National Adoption Day/Samantha’s Readoption Day

On November 19th we attended the National Adoption Day event at The Oncenter in Syracuse, NY to celebrate Samantha’s readoption. You may remember we attended the same event back in 2008 for Sofia. You can click here to view that post. The day was so special and the local news interviewed us. I was holding…

Cazenovia

Yesterday the girls and I went to Cazenovia and took a few pictures. Cazenovia is right down the road from our house. We had fun but I started to feel sick and we had to come home. Last night I felt like a truck had run over me. I felt terrible. Today is a little…

The Gang's Momma - Gorgeous pics – not that I’d expect anything less!

I love Cazenovia. I lived there from the time I was a couple months old till I was almost five. We lived in a little rancher on Evergreen lane. My dad was in local town politics there. My aunt lived in two different lovely homes over the years, both on Lincklaen Street across from the dorms of the college. I stole a piece of gum from the pharmacy on the main drag by that gorgeous white church before you get to the lake. My BFF got married in that church. We went to the little Catholic church around the corner. Many, many good memories there. A wonderful gem of a town.

Barbara Kuttruff Rosenfeld - These pictures should be in magazines! They are beautiful. Of course, with those subjects, they will always be beautiful!

Jennifer Holzner - The pictures are beautiful, you take great pictures. The girls are getting so big, amazing how fast they grow. Hugs to you all

Kerri McLeod - feel better soon Jonni!!
Love the pictures, could they get any cuter!!!

Tracy Wood - Oh Jonni…the pics are beautiful!!! I dont know if I am a little bias, but I think your girls are the prettiest little girls I ever seen : )))

Editing Some Pics From Today

The girls and I went over to the Village of Cazenovia today and I took a few pics of them. It was fun but we had to end it early since I have come down with some sort of illness today. My throat is raw and I feel crappy. I did get some fun shots…

Halloween 2010

I am attempting to catch-up on a couple of posts that I have been meaning to get up on here before now. Things have been crazy around here lately. We may be moving but I am not yet sure. An Executive Headhunter contacted John recently about a position in the Poconos in PA. John has…

Joy Weaver - What a cute Tinkerbell and Sleeping Beauty. I remember having to wear my winter coat while trick-or-treating when I was growing up.

Wow, if you do move to the Poconos you won’t be too far from me. We live in Elizabethtown which is 20 minutes south of Hershey, PA. We are most likely vacationing in the Pocanos with my in-laws next summer.
