Today we celebrated 4 years since we received Sofia’s referral. It’s mind-boggling that it has really been 4 years since we received her picture and paperwork. Our lives forever changed that day. We knew we had our little girl waiting for us in China and within 2.5 mos. of receiving Sofia’s referral we would be on our way to bring her home. John and I feel so blessed to be Sofia and Sammy’s Mommy and Daddy. There is really no greater joy to me than watching these two amazing babies grow and knowing that they are my daughters makes my life complete. It was a really dark out and getting ready to rain when I snapped this but I look forward to capturing the girls just as they were and are every year on the girls referral anniversaries.
