Still catching up with posting pics from the past few weeks. The girls went to their 2nd dental appointment on Monday 6/14. They both had their teeth cleaned. How funny you should post this. Jason and I were just talking about a possible change with his job as well…not sure where it will lead us or if it's just some frustration that will pass. I'm so glad you guys feel at peace with your decision. Here's to new beginnings!

Sofia has surgery scheduled for tomorrow to fix an ear tube that has slipped and to have her frenum (the muscle under her tongue) cut. We are hoping this will give her tongue a little more mobility and help with her speech. Her surgery was originally scheduled for 1:30pm tomorrow but the issue I had…

My daughter (3) had her tongue release two weeks ago! It literally took only a minute to do (one suture) and she was talking and eating a popsicle when I was allowed to see her just moments later. Her tongue was sore for a day and she just needed liquid ibuprophen (and lots of popsicles). She really is speaking more clearly already. Sofia will do great!! Good luck!

Thinking and praying for her today…Taya had the tongue clipping done at 6 months and it was a breeze so hope that parts goes as well for her. It didn't blead or she didn't notice it even had happened. Keep us updated!

We'll all be thinking about you, little Miss Sofia – hoping for a speedy recovery. We know she's in good hands, just like Helaina always is with her surgeries. With Helaina's last surgery we were actually in the nurses' station in an area the size of a closet, so hopefully you'll at least be more comfortable in the new hospital! Roberta
