I can hardly believe that it was 3 years ago today that John and I received the most wonderful news of our lives, we had a daughter waiting in China. We were filled with so much joy and excitement and a lot of relief that we would soon be holding our daughter in our arms….
Yesterday, June 11th was the 2nd year anniversary of the day we received Sofia’s referral. I don’t know how 2 years have passed so quickly but we feel so lucky to have our sweet Sofia as our daughter.

This is one of the most exciting and beautiful ceremonies I’ve seen! It’s actually funny that I wondered onto your site, because today we received our daughter’s birth certificate too! We didn’t have to re-adopt here in NJ, but it was just as exciting to get that document.
Congratulations on NY’s future tax payer and your upcoming 2nd adoption!

Awwwwww,just beautiful!!! I really enjoyed seeing all the photos from Lanzhou…..brings back so many wonderful memories. The museum looks fun. We didn’t see it. Did you purchase one of the horses? We actually bought 2 while there…I have one setting out and I have a smaller one put away.
